Abhimanyu Singh thrilled to be back playing the antagonist in NTR’s next
With two big ticket films in his kitty — NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa and Gopichand’s Aaradugula Bullet — Bollywood actor Abhimanyu Singh seems to be happy being Tollywood bound. “It’s great to be back in Tollywood,” says the actor who was last seen in the 2016 Aadi-starrer Chuttalabbayi.
Talking about his role in NTR’s upcoming film, he says, “NTR is playing a triple role in the film, and one of the characters is that of a bad guy. I’m playing the main antagonist who is pitted against what will be NTRs ugliest avatar till date.”
“I play a guy who hails from Jharkhand, a typical bhaiyaji, character so to speak of. So I’ll be seen sporting half jackets, shawls and glasses. I have a brother who’s into coal mining. He is the brain behind the scenes, but I’m the public face of his business. In the course of the film, my brother dies, because of which, I lose my sanity. And to avenge my brother’s murder, I vow to kill NTR,” he adds.
The actor, is also awaiting the release of Gopichand-starrer Aaradugula Bullet. “I’m again playing the main antagonist in this film too. It’s a very powerful role, and credit goes to the director B Gopal who gave me this character,” he says adding, “I play a ruthless mafia don in the movie. It’s a very stylish character and will come as a surprise to the audience.”
