Abhijeeth Poondla's film 'Nice 2 Meet U' goes to Cannes

Abhijeeth Poondla, who has acted in films like LBW, Chandamama Kathalu, is a happy man these days. His maiden English film, Nice 2 Meet U is going to be screened in the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, although it hasn't featured in any of the competition categories. Directed by Naveen Medaram, the film is a British production and it has Abhijeeth, Rachel Loughran in lead roles.Naveen Medaram, Thirupathi Goli and Chandu Ceeka have produced the film and the entire film has been shot in London.
The film revolves around an young Indian guy, Abhi, who works in London, who falls in love with Rosie, a smart and sexy Scottish girl; however, Abhi's conservative background prevents him from pursuing his dreams and confessing his true feelings for Rosie. The romcom has already found a prominent distributor and Naveen Medaram is hoping to meet sales agents and distributors from different parts of the world.
Abhijeeth's last film, Chandamama Kathalu released back in April this year and his role got good reviews.
