Aadi adds dad's name to his own for box office luck

Young actor Aadi, son of popular comedian, Saikumar, is all set to make it big in Tollywood with his latest thriller, ‘Shamantakamani’, released on Friday. The actor also opted for a name change, as the film’s title credits displayed his name as Aadi Saikumar. Confirming the news, Aadi said that ‘Shamantakamani’ director Sriram used to tease him for having a short name, when all the stars are having long names. Aadi plays the role of a romantic youth named, Karthik, who is in love with a rich girl in the film. The actor has excelled in the role of the desperate lover, who wants to impress his lady love.The flick revolves around the theft of a vintage Rolls-Royce, ‘Shamantakamani’ and the ensuing police investigation that changes the lives of all the people who are associated with the car.
