The final schedule for
Nagesh Kukunoor’s maiden Telugu film Good Luck Sakhi was in progress in Hyderabad and Aadhi Pinisetty who plays one of the lead characters has wrapped up shoot for the film.
Sharing the news and a short video of the director, Aadhi and the crew clapping after his last shot, a PR note reads, “And it's a WRAP for Goli Raju aka @AadhiOfficial on #GoodLuckSakhi.
More deets soon! @KeerthyOfficial @IamJagguBhai @ThisIsDSP @nkukunoor #DilRaju @shravyavarma @sudheerbza @WorthAShotArts.”(sic) Goli Raju is the name of the character Aadhi plays in the film, a padya natakalu artist who likes going by the name Rama Rao instead.
Aadhi and his rumoured girlfriend Nikki Galrani were recently spotted at Hyderabad airport last Tuesday, with the actor arriving to the city to complete his portion of the shoot.
Keerthy Suresh was also spotted at the airport the next day.
Prabhas had launched the teaser of Good Luck Sakhi, which sees her play the titular character and Jagapathi in a key role, in August on Independence Day. Uppena star
Vijay Sethupathi launched the Tamil version of the teaser.
The teaser offered a glimpse into the characters Keerthy and Aadhi play in the film. Keerthy Suresh is known as ‘bad luck’ Sakhi as misfortune follows her everywhere, even when she wants to get married. Aadhi plays the role of a traditional theatre artist whom she falls for. The teaser also shows that Rahul Ramakrishna plays a key role in the film. However, the story soon switches to an urban setup when Keerthy Suresh is brought on-board to be a shooter by Jagapathi Babu’s character. The actress also speaks with a rural twang for authenticity of character in the film.
Good Luck Sakhi will release not just in Telugu, but also in Tamil and Malayalam. The film will see music by Devi Sri Prasad, a glimpse of which was given in the teaser. Further details are awaited.
