A war video from the sets of 'Shaakuntalam' goes viral

A video of the ongoing war scene from the shooting of 'Shaakuntalam' from the special set erected in Ramoji Film city, Hyderabad is currently going viral on social media. The video shows the battle scenes from the film, filmed by Gunasekhar and his team.
Shaakuntalam is one of the highly anticipated Pan-Indian films in making in Tollywood right now. The movie is being directed by Gunasekhar under his production house Guna Teamworks.The film stars Tollywood actress Samantha in the lead role alongside Malayalam actor Dev Mohan in the role of a villain. Samantha was reported to have already completed the shooting for the film. Currently, an interesting update by the makers is impressing everyone.
The film is set in Northern India against the backdrop of Hastinapur. Art director Ashok Kumar had designed the required sets for the film whereas award-winning fashion designer Neeta Lulla is roped in to do the costumes in the film. Sekhar V. Joseph and Bishwadeep Chatterjee joined as the DOP and Sound designer of the film respectively. While Manisharma is providing the music for this film.
The film will also see talented VFX supervisors from Canada, Hong Kong, and China.
Shaakuntalam is an upcoming mythological drama, based on the popular Indian play ‘Shakuntala’ by Kalidasa. The film will also see Aditi Balan, Mohan Babu, and Gautami playing the supporting roles.
It is reported that the film unit is making preparations to bring the film to the audience as soon as possible.
