A fake video of Allu Arjun promoting a political party goes viral

With the parliamentary election underway this year, many videos of actors promoting the political parties are going viral. Following Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh, a video of Allu Arjun is doing the rounds on social media, which looks like it is promoting an Indian political party. The video was originally shot at the Indian Day Parade in 2021 in New York.


The video shows the actor wearing the tricolor shawl over his shoulders and waving his hands at people. This video was misinterpreted to be the actor promoting the Indian National Congress after it was shared on social media.

Sharing the poster of Allu Arjun, the caption read, "Jay Congress and Vijay Congress." It was made to look like the actor was promoting the political party. It is a fake video that is doing the rounds. Earlier, a video of Ranveer Singh also made the rounds, and the actor took to social media to request fans stay away from these deepfake videos.

On the work front, Allu Arjun is awaiting the release of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', which is set to release in theaters on August 15. Directed by Sukumar, the film is a sequel to the 2022 blockbuster 'Pushpa 1: The Rise'. The film stars Allu Arjun, Devi Sri Prasad, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles.
