A fairy tale ring ceremony for Akhil & Shriya

Two of the city���s most influential families came together on Friday for the engagement ceremony of Akhil Akkineni and Shriya Bhupal. The surreal white decor at the venue, the plush GVK residence in Banjara Hills, made for a dreamy backdrop for this glitzy alliance. The couple chose to wear colour-coordinated outfits. Akhil, looked dapper in a white and gold bandhgala while Shriya, dripping in diamonds, picked a white lehenga-choli.And when Akhil got down on one knee to slip a ring on Shriya���s finger, some erupted in applause while others let out an audible ���awww���. The family ��� parents Nag and Amala, brother Chaitanya, and of course, the Akkineni kodalu-to-be, Samantha ��� looked evidently delighted to see the baby boy of the family all grown up.
