Raashii Khanna made her Tollywood debut with a cameo role in the 2014 film 'Manam', co-starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Akkineni Nageswara Rao. She made her debut as a lead in the same year with 'Oohalu Gusagusalade' and got the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut. The film opened to rave reviews at the box office, and Raashii’s filmography went on to include 'Jil', 'Bengal Tiger', 'Supreme', 'Jai Lava Kusa', 'Tholi Prema', 'Prati Roju Pandage' and others. Although she has had opportunities in many big movies, she says no to them for some reason. Sarkaru Vaari Paata

Mahanubhavudu

Majili
Director Shiva Nirvana wanted Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raashii Khanna to star in his film 'Majili'. While Samantha was offered the role of Sravani, Raashii was supposed to play Anshu. She rejected the offer because she did not want to play second fiddle. Divyansha Kaushik, who ended up taking the part, had been nominated for the Best Supporting for her performance in the movie.

Rakshasudu
Very few people are aware of the fact that Raashii was the makers of Rakshasudu’s first choice for the character of Krishnaveni. Raashii turned it down, and Anupama Parameswaran came in to grab the role. The Ramesh Varma directed-film became a biggest hit the career of Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas. For the unversed, Rakshasudu is the official remake of the 2018 Tamil film 'Ratsasan'.
