69th National Film Festival: S.S. Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, Prem Rakshith, Srinivas Mohan, and Kaala Bhairava receive National Awards for 'RRR' - See pics

The National Film Festival 2023 is held in Delhi today, October 17, and the Telugu film 'RRR' bags six awards at the National Film Festival. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the movie starred Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in lead roles, and the movie has won many accolades and broken many records worldwide.


At the National Film Awards this year, 'RRR' won the Golden Lotus Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment (Director S.S. Rajamouli), Best Choreography (Prem Rakshith), and Best Music Direction and Background Score. M.M. Keeravani, Best Special Effects, Srinivas Mohan, and Best Playback Singer (Male), Kaala Bhairava

SS Rajamouli, Prem Rakshith, MM Keervani, Kaala Bhairava, and Srinivas Mohan received their awards at the National Film Festival from President Draupadi Murmu today.

'RRR', which denotes 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram', was released on March 25, 2022. The movie is an epic, periodic action drama set before the independence of India. The film was considered one of the best 10 films in India that year by the National Film Critic Board, and 'RRR is also the first Indian film made by an Indian production house to win the Academy Awards and Golden Globe.
