Baahubali: The Beginning, the first instalment in the Baahubali series was a visual treat to all the audiences. It was the second-highest-grossing Indian movie of all time, garnering over Rs 600 crore worldwide. Baahubali: The Beginning was a big-budget film that spent most of its money on creating huge sets and visual effects. The movie was not only appreciated for its spellbound VFX but also won the National Film Award for Best Special Effects and Best Feature Film, becoming the first Telugu film to win the award.

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli is a pioneer of big-budget movies and is known for changing the narrative of Indian cinema. Over the past years, Rajamouli has managed to strike the right chord of the audience, by sticking to his roots and making his films progressive. Baahubali: The Beginning received widespread critical acclaim, and rightly so. The film’s emotion suggests that it may be Rajamouli’s most intimate work. The pairing of Prabhas as Sivudu and Tamannaah Bhatia as the rebellion Avanthika was an accomplishment on its own. Without any doubt, the on-screen chemistry between the two actors was the key element of the film. The acting and chemistry are the highlights of the picture, but the entire narrative and conversations are solid. Their chemistry was absolutely incredible and made the film unforgettable.

Baahubali: The Beginning tells the story of Sivudu, who lives with his family near the kingdom of Mahishmati learns about the conflict-ridden past of his family his legacy while pursuing his love. Sivudu must now prepare himself to face his newfound arch-enemy. Rajamouli's hard-hitting direction and effective lead performances meant that the story was only better told on celluloid. Thanks to some A-list stars like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia Khan, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj and Nassar, and hard-hitting performances, the story gets out and in a big way.

It’s been six years, but the audience still remembers the songs from Baahubali: The Beginning, right from Pacha Bottasina, Dheevara to Manohari and Mamatala Talli, every song is loved by the audience for its perfect combination of emotional and soulfulness. The soundtrack and film score were composed by MM Keeravani, and the songs were sung by Karthik, Damini Bhatla, Geetha Madhuri, Ramya Behara, Deepu, Mounima, Mohana Bhogaraju and LV Revanth.
