6 Times when Nani's films were remade in other languages!
Ghanta Naveen Babu aka Nani, who started his career as a clap assistant to veteran filmmaker Bapu, is now addressed as a Natural Star after the super-success of his debut film ‘Ashta Chamma’ in the lead role. Post that, several of his films got dubbed in other languages due to interesting content and performance.
Not limited to that, a few other films like 'Veppam', 'Eega' and 'Aaha Kalyanam' were also shot simultaneously in other languages and several of his movies were remade in multiple languages. ETimes put down the list of Nani's films that were remade in multiple languages!

Ala Modalaindi (2011)
This romantic comedy written and directed by BV Nandini Reddy for Sri Ranjith Movies starring Nani and Nithya Menen is considered in the list of the 25 greatest films of the decade was remade almost in every language. In Tamil as Yennamo Yedho (2014), In Bengali as ‘Olpo Olpo Premer Golpo (2014), In Kannada as ‘Bhale Jodi’ (2016).

Nenu Local (2017)
This 2017 Telugu romantic action comedy film written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada and directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by Dil Raju featuring Nani and Keerthy Suresh was declared as a blockbuster at the box-office and it was later remade in Bengali as Total ‘Dadagiri’ (2018) and dubbed into Tamil as ‘Naan Local’ and Hindi as ‘Super Khiladi’ 4 in 2018.

Ninnu Kori (2017)
One more superhit film of the star Nani which was written and directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by DVV Danayya has captured the audience's attention by grossing Rs 52 crores at the box office. Interestingly, a Tamil remake of the same is currently in making under the title ‘Thalli Pogathey’ starring Atharwaa and Anupama Parameswaran.

Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (2015)
A rom-com written and directed by director Maruthi, starring Nani and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles is about an absent-minded plant scientist and his efforts to hide his inherent memory-related flaws. The film received positive reviews from the critics and grossed over Rs 50.05 crores. It also won Best Film and Best Actor awards at the Filmfare. The film was later remade in Kannada as ‘Sundaranga Jaana’ (2016) and in Tamil as ‘Ghajinikanth’ (2018).

Middle-Class Abbayi (2017)
This action comedy film written and directed by Venu Sriram is produced by Dil Raju under his Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film that starred Nani along with, Sai Pallavi and Bhumika Chawla in the lead roles was a blockbuster in Telugu and it was later dubbed into Hindi and Tamil.

Jersey (2019)
'Jersey' is a Telugu sports drama written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri that is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, starring Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles. The film was an instant success and has received highly positive reviews for its writing and performances. The film also won two National Film Awards: Best feature film in Telugu and Best Editing. This Nani starrer blockbuster is now releasing in Hindi this Dec 31st under the same title with Shahid Kapoor reprising Nani’s role.

HIT: First Case (2020)
HIT: The First Case is a Telugu mystery action thriller film written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu and produced by Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni starring Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in the lead roles. The film is now being remade in Hindi with the same title by Dil Raju and Bhushan Kumar. The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra.
