It also featured Nikitin Dheer, Srinivas Avasarala, Sowcar Janaki, Gollapudi Maruti Rao, Ravi Prakash, Satyam Rajesh and Posani Krishna Murali and others in pivotal roles.
Varun Tej as Dhupati Haribabu in the movie is quite unique that other heroes played in their movies. There is no denying this fact that Pragya Jaiswal literally stole the show in some of the scenes with her outstanding performance as upper caste woman Rachakonda Sitadevi. Srinivasa Avasarala's comic timing and his dialogues in the movie are a delight to watch. Another plus point for Kanche is its amazing soundtrack that includes some wonderful but varied songs.
Kanche earned praise for its direction, music by Chirantan Bhatt and story. The film garnered awards and nominations in various categories ranging from best actor to best director.
