As Bharat Ane Nenu turned 3 years, the Acharya director wrote on social media, ""ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ భయం,బాధ్యత ఉండాలి' (Every citizen must have fear and responsibility) 3 years on and these lines from #BharatAneNenu feel more relevant to the times we are in right now! (sic)."

Bharat Ane Nenu was the second time Mahesh had teamed up with Koratala Siva. The duo had earlier worked together in the 2015 film
