2 years of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo': Icon star Allu Arjun reminisces his blockbuster movie

As the superhit movie 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,' which was released in 2020, clocked 2 years on Wednesday, actor Allu Arjun got nostalgic remembering the iconic movie on its release anniversary.
Taking to Twitter, Allu Arjun reminisced his memories of the film and shared a poster of the movie to mark the special occasion. ''Sweetest Recall. 2 years of #AVPL. What a journey… I still feel the sweetness.. Thank you #trivikram garu for the most spl experience ever. And my brother @musicthaman for the album of the decade, all my artists, techs. , producers n the whole team,'' the Pushpa actor tweeted.

The actor also congratulated the team. He wrote, ''Congratulations to us once again. May we celebrate many more in years to come. Sweetga Undhi kadha… Nakugooda Nachindhi.''

The film gave Allu Arjun one of the most memorable characters of his career and he even went on to bag many awards for his performance. Pooja Hegde shared screen space with Allu Arjun for the second time in the film and their onscreen chemistry made it extremely difficult to forget 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.' Their sizzling on-screen chemistry was the talk of the town. The beautifully picturised songs, "Butta Bomma" and "Samajavaragamana" are still remembered vividly for their beautiful melody and the chemistry between the lead actors.

Produced by Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations, the film also starred Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth, Nivetha Pethuraj, Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma, Navdeep, Sachin Khedekar and Rajendra Prasad in pivotal roles. S Thaman composed music for the film. The musical score of the film was also well received. PS Vinod handled the cinematography while Navin Nooli edited the flick.
