The 2006 film Vikramarkudu will always be counted among the blockbuster hits in the Telugu film industry. Directed by SS Rajamouli and written by his father K Vijayendra Prasad, the film proves that excellent producing, directing and acting combined with an appealing storyline can beat all odds. Vikramarkudu narrates the story of a small-time thief Sathibabu, who resembles a tough cop Rathore, not only takes care of his daughter after his death but even takes charge of his place as a police officer. His mission is to finish the evil don, Bavuji, who is known for his outrages.
