The demise of legendary filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao has struck a big blow for Telugu film industry. The veteran maker, who passed away recently in Hyderabad at the age of 75 had inspired many promising young actors and filmmakers. It goes without saying that Tollywood will take some time to recover from the loss.
Young hero Nani, while attending the trailer launch of his ‘Ninnu Kori’ film’s co-star Aadhi Pinisetty’s ‘Markathamani’ on Sunday evening shared that he is devastated by the maker’s death.

Paying tribute to Dasari, Nani urged all the young actors and filmmakers to work hard to achive Dasari’s dream of a golden epoch when movies will be watched for directors and not for actors or actresses. “This shows Dasari Narayana Rao wanted people to encourage good films and not just see films for stars alone,” said Nani in his inspiring emotional speech.
