Nagarjuna shares a bittersweet memory and the last picture he took of his father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao

Akkineni Nageswara Rao, loved by his fans as ANR, was a famous actor and personality of his time.
Yesterday was his 4th death anniversary and his son Nagarjuna shared a nostalgic post on social media. He shared two pictures – one of just his father ANR and the other of himself, his sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil with ANR. He captioned the post, “You left us 4 years ago but all we have to do is think of you and we smile.ANR LIVES ON!! Ps:That was the last pic I took of nana with my phone.” (sic)
The click seems to have been taken on the sets of ‘Manam’, even though this remains unconfirmed. Released on 23 May 2014, ‘Manam’ had starred ANR, who died during the film’s production stage on 22 January 2014, along with the whole Akkineni clan of Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. It also featured Amitabh Bachchan, Amala Akkineni and Akhil in cameo roles.
Nagarjuna, who was last seen in Ohmkar’s ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’ with his daughter-in-law Samantha will soon be seen in RGV’s upcoming venture. Myra Sareen will be his co-star in the film.
