Malayalam hit Anandam to release in Telugu on March 16

The Telugu dubbed version of hit Malayalam film is releasing on Feb 16. The film has Premam fame Nivin Pauly as the hero whereas the rest of the cast comprises newcomers. Reportedly made on a budget of Rs 4 crore, the film grossed more than Rs 20 crore in Malayalam making it a blockbuster. Etttari Gururaj has acquired the Telugu rights to the film which is directed by Ganesh Raj.“Anandam was a very big hit in Malayalam and we are glad to be bringing this film to Telugu audiences. A group of students go on an industrial tour and what happens during the four days of the tour forms the crux of the story. I’m sure that Telugu youth will also love this film,” said Gururaj.
