'Love Sex Aur Dhoka' star Neha Chauhan forays into Telugu cinema with Ravi Babu’s Aviri

Neha Chauhan, the gorgeous Indore girl who played the role of Rashmi in

Love Sex Aur Dhoka

(LSD), is all set to make her Telugu debut with Ravi Babu’s Aviri. The actress, who has since
co-directed the documentary, Letters to Dharavi, and acted in TV series’ like Yudh, Humorously Yours and Shaitaan Haveli, will play one of the leads in the horror thriller, apart from Ravi Babu, Sri Muktha, Bharani Shankar and Mukhtar Khan.

Ravi Babu, who’s also directing the film, is pleased as punch with Neha. “Although Neha is new to the Telugu film industry, she worked out beautifully for the role, despite not knowing the language. She even nailed some of the scenes in a single take,” the director shares.

The recently released first-look of Aviri sees a pair of eyes peeking out from a pressure cooker with the titular steam wafting around. “The title and poster themselves are symbolic of the heat of emotions the lead characters face,” says Ravi Babu, adding, “Aviri is only a metaphoric title, but steam as a physical component has a very important role to play in the film.”
A story of a tight-knit family consisting of a set of parents and their two daughters, Aviri will surprise the viewers, Ravi says. “There’s a line in the film that goes: ‘sometimes the smallest mistakes in life lead to the biggest consequences’. The film will also reflect the way we bring up our children, as well as the interpersonal relationships within a small family,” he says, signing off.
