Kanchana 3 to release on April 18

The fourth installment of the Muni series,

Kanchana 3

(Kanchana being second) will make it to the theatres in Telugu and Tamil on April 18. The earlier films have all been directed by Lawrence and has featured him in the lead role as well. Kanchana 3 is significant to Lawrence's career as his earlier films Shiva Linga, Motta Siva Ketta Siva have tanked at the box office.

Top actors like Nithya Menen, Taapsee Pannu have been a part of the Muni/Kanchana franchise and the latest addition to the same is Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Oviya. Another surprise quotient in the film is the return of Vedhika into the franchise, who had acted in Muni with Lawrence. Muni/Kanchana definitely has been a brand of horror comedy that audiences have liked and it'll be interesting to see what Lawrence has in store for his fans, at a time when horror comedies aren't exactly faring well at the ticket window.
