The movie begins with a song depicting the positive contribution of cops to the society. Jaydev is introduced as a police officer who takes charge as inspector of Simhadripuram. With his sister and brother in law at home, Jaydev leads a happy life. The story takes a turn when sub inspector Srihari (Ravi Prakash) is murdered by the sand mafia.
