In another remake, Paramanandayya Sishyula will soon hit the screens in Telugu states in 3D format

Paramanandayya Sishyulu is one of the most-loved fiction stories of Telugu literature. Under the directorial of

, the story had made its way to the silver screen in 1950, with the same title and Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Lakshmi Rajyam portraying the lead roles. Later in 1966, with a star cast of N T Rama Rao and K R Vijaya, the movie was recreated for the silver screen with a slight tweak in the name,

,under the direction of C Pullayya.

In recent news, after almost 53-years of the remake, Telugu industry has once again taken up the story, but in the format of 3D this time. Making it a complete children-oriented film, the production unit has released the teaser today.

The film is touted to be Telugu’s first children's film in 3D. Speaking on the occasion of teaser release, director Maruthi said, "I congratulate the film crew for making an effort to showcase the most loved story Paramanandayya Sishyulu with advanced technology available. I hope that the film will be supported by all sections of the audience."

Directed by Venkat Rajesh Puli, the film is produced by Katama Reddy Santhan Reddy and CH Kiran Sharma under the banners of Pink Rose Cinemas.
