and Mahanati director Nag Ashwin is quite vocal on social media about various topics.

Earlier today, he took a stand on good films not making it big at the

box office

, stating that had certain films raked in money, it would’ve changed the direction the Telugu film industry took. Highlighting seven movies in particular which were produced with a novel script but failed to rake in money, Nag Ashwin wrote, "Telugu films I wish did better at the BO...would have changed the direction of the industry maybe... #Khaleja #Leader #panja #orange #andalarakshasi #dearcomrade probably many more.. especially khaleja... imagine at wat level trivikram garu would have been writing if tht worked.. The films Nag Ashwin highlighted include the recent Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna and Bharat Kamma flick Dear Comrade and the critically acclaimed Rana Daggubati and Sekhar Kammula film Leader as well.
