I feel right at home in Tollywood: Nabha Natesh
Actress Nabha Natesh, who stole hearts with her performance as a short film star in her Tollywood debut Nannu Dochukunduvate, feels like she has finally arrived in the industry. The young actress has bagged key roles in Ravi Teja’s upcoming film with Vi Anand and Ashok Galla’s debut project as well. The Bengaluru girl, who had to wait for a long time to make her debut, is delighted with the offers coming her way in Tollywood.
“The trust that filmmakers have placed in me so early in my career is heartening. I’ve worked hard to get a break in the industry and to have done two films already with two more in the pipeline, I really couldn't have asked for more,” gushes the 22-year-old.An engineer by qualification, Nabha made heads turn in the Kannada film industry, when she debuted opposite Shiva Rajkumar at the age of 19. The actress admits that she feels right at home while she’s working in the Telugu film
industry.
“Tollywood isn’t making me feel like a newcomer at all. I have grown up watching a lot of Telugu films and I like the opulence of the industry, both as an actor and as a viewer. My staff and people on sets are helping me learn the language,” she says, excitedly. The 22-year-old has already taken a fascination to Hyderabad in the little time she’s been spending here. “Hyderabad is a very friendly place to be in, the people are warm and the food, amazing. I feel it’s a mirror image to Bengaluru in terms of its cosmopolitan culture, so this feels home indeed,” she expresses.
Whenever she isn’t acting, the Nannu Dochukunduvate actress enjoys practicing contemporary dance and hip-hop. “I am also very good in making a lot of friends when I’m free. I detox myself from work as I paint. However acting is what makes me jump in the mornings with excitement, it’s something I want to do all my life,” shares Nabha, signing off.
