Surekha Vani used to anchor TV shows

During her school days, Surekha Vani showed great interest in cultural programs and took up anchoring at the age of 8 hosting local TV shows in Vijayawada. After a few years, she became popular, gave up studies and took up anchoring as her profession. She fell in love with her colleague and both entered wedlock. Soon, Surekha started getting film opportunities and she was able to carve a niche for herself in Tollywood.
