Shilpi Sharma in a female-centric film

Shilpi Sharma has been offered the lead role in a female-centric film to be directed by Rajamouli's dad, Vijayendra Prasad. Apparently, the filmmakers approached Shilpi recently. It's a sci-fi film that will be loaded with action episodes. The filmmakers were on the lookout for an actress who could look glamourous as well as carry off action scenes.They felt Shipli had the right frame and has asked her to train in martial arts.
A fashion management graduate, Shilpi debuted in Tollywood with the romantic comedy Green Signal. She recently made her Kannada debut with the 3D film, Aakramana. The actress also baged the lead opposite Salman Khan in Anees Bazmee's film — a sequel to No Entry.
