Hero Gopichand was 8 when his father T. Krishna died. He was never interested in films but just when his elder brother Premchand was about to make his directorial debut, he died in a car accident.
Gopichand was in Russia and could not make to his brother’s funeral due to Visa issues. On his return, the actor decided to enter the film industry. He joined dialogue modulation course and finally made his debut with Tholi Valapu.
