There will be times when a film might get shelved after its announcement or sometimes even mid-shoot. After the stupendous success of Satya, Ram Gopal Varma came up with the script of

Vinalani Vundi in 1998

. Megastar Chiranjeevi was signed to play the lead role in the movie. Tabu cast opposite Chiranjeevi in the action-thriller.

After nearly 20 per cent of the film's shoot, Chiranjeevi decided not to continue with the movie due to his disagreement with the script. Even two songs of the film had been canned by the team. Mani Sharma was the music composer of the film. Aswani Dutt was supposed to produce the film under his home banner Vyjayanthi Movies. Later the project was shelved entirely.

Director Gunasekhar

used the two songs in his movie Choodalani Vundi, starring Chiranjeevi, Soundarya and Anjala Zaveri. Ashwini Dutt had bankrolled the movie.

Chiranjeevi and director Koratala Siva are all set to team up for a crazy project, tentatively titled

Chiru 152

. The 64-year-old actor will be seen essaying a government employee in the movie. Mani Sharma is scoring music for this flick. Ram Charan is producing the film under Konidela Production Company in association with Matinee Entertainment.
