In a recent interview, Telugu actor Naga Shaurya revealed some interesting details about his career and an opportunity that slipped away. Naga Shaurya, who gained immense popularity with the superhit film 'Chalo' in 2018, shared that another actress named Sreeleela was initially approached for the role that eventually went to Rashmika Mandana in the movie.

Nagashaurya expressed his admiration for Sreeleela and mentioned that she had been finalized for the role in 'Chalo.' However, unforeseen circumstances led to Sreeleela leaving the project, opening the door for Rashmika Mandana to step in and make a mark in the industry. 'Chalo' turned out to be a significant milestone in both Nagashaurya's and Rashmika Mandanna's careers, catapulting them to new heights of fame.

While Sreeleela may have missed out on the opportunity to become a star heroine with 'Chalo,' her career has taken an upward trajectory since then. Currently, Sreeleela has a staggering eight films in her hands, with seven of them being Telugu movies. She has bagged some exciting projects with prominent directors and leading actors in the industry.


In the much-anticipated film directed by Boyapati Srinu, Sreeleela will be seen opposite Ram Pothineni in the lead role. She also plays a pivotal character in Nithiin's 32nd film. Additionally, Sreeleela has a significant role in 'Bhagawant Kesari,' directed by Anil Ravipudi and starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, where she portrays Balayya's daughter. The actress has also landed two big projects alongside Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas in the upcoming film 'Guntur Kaaram' and with Vijay Deverakonda in his 12th film. Moreover, she has the privilege of working with the legendary actor Pawan Kalyan in 'Ustad Bhagat Singh.'
