, s/o Puri Jagannadh, was, as per several media reports, that first choice of the director to play the lead role. However, as the team suggested that he takes an experienced star for this role, Ram Pothineni landed the part that he was also keen to play.

Puri Akash made his acting debut as a child artist in the Ram Charan-starrer ‘Chirutha’ and featured in several Telugu films as Master Akash. His first film as the lead was ‘Mehbooba’, which didn't fare well at the ticket window, however, he is now reportedly prepping up for his next project.
