'Awe' is similar to Pulp Fiction: Director Prasanth Varma

Natural Star Nani’s production venture 'Awe,' is undoubtedly is one of the most awaited movies of the year 2018. The recently released teaser of the film received overwhelming response from the audience.

Speaking about the film, director Prashanth Varma says the characters in ‘Awe’ in along the lines of ‘Pulp Fiction’, an American crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Calling the movie ‘a crazy experiment’ he said that he wanted to break the prevalent format of today’s films -- of making the journey along with the protagonist, understanding him and then empathizing with him. In ‘Awe’, as he puts, one cannot empathise with the characters; one may fall in love with them, but won’t be able to understand or empathise with them.

He also added that most of the characters in this film are unique and has never been tried in Tollywood. The film may seem scattered initially, will gain momentum as the plot unravels.
