Aditya 369 was inspired by ‘Back to the Future’

Many people thought that Aditya 369 (1991) was inspired by ‘Back to the Future’. Director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, in his college days, read a book written by HG Wells called ‘Time Machine’. Later, he made it into a film by roping in Nandamuri Balakrishna and further incorporated a few interesting and fun elements in the script.
