’, starring Ram Pothineni, Anupama Parameswaran and Lavanya Tripathi released on October 27 and received mixed reviews from critics and movie-goers.

Directed by Kishore Tirumala, with music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film has managed to rake in Rs 71.11 Lakhs right on its first day in the US box office during the previews. Reports state that the film had a pre-release business of more than Rs 30 Cr with the theatrical rights of the film sold for Rs 20 Cr, satellite rights for Rs 6 Cr, Hindi satellite for Rs 3 Cr, digital rights for Rs 2 Cr and other rights raking in Rs 1 Cr.

Trade experts believe that the film has amassed in Rs 5-7 Cr in the Telugu states alone on its first day, though the numbers are yet to be known. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media to post, “Telugu film #VunnadiOkateZindagi has a GOOD START in USA... Thu previews $ 109,311 [₹ 71.11 lakhs] from 90 locations.”
