Virata Parvam has reportedly made Rs 4 crores in Nizam, 2 crores in Ceeded, and 5 crores in Andhra Pradesh. The film was purchased for Rs 1 crore in Karnataka release, while Rs 2 crore Overseas.
The film's theatrical rights were reportedly sold for Rs 14 crores. The film was also sold to an international OTT gaint for an undisclosed price.
Venu Udugula directorial Virata Parvam, starring Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, is out in theatres today. The period action-drama also stars Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Easwari Rao, Sai Chand and Nivetha Pethuraj in the other prominent roles. While Rana will play comrade Ravanna, Sai Pallavi will be seen as his love interest Vennela. The trailer of the film 'Virata Parvam' has garnered a tremendous response from cinephiles. The film is being bankrolled jointly by Rana's father D Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banners of 'Suresh productions' and 'Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas'.
The film has been shot by foreign cinematographer Dani Salo along with Divakar Mani and has its editing taken care of by multiple award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad. Action sequences were choreographed by Peter Hein and Stefan Richter, while its choreography is taken care of by Raju Sundaram and Prem Rakshith Masters.
