The theatrical value of the film was reportedly 8 Cr. The light-hearted film also stars pro actors like Naresh, Rahul Ramakrishna and more in key roles. Apart from the lead pair, Naresh’s performance in the film was widely appreciated. ‘Sammohanam’ has also become Sudheer Babu’s biggest opening grosser in the US.

The film charts the journey of a cartoonist Vijay, played by Sudheer Babu, who detests everything about the world of films. His father, played by Naresh, is a film buff who still holds out hope to make it big in films. However when a famous actress Sameera Rathode, played by Aditi Rao Hydari, and her team turn up at his home to shoot for a film, he begins to fall for her simplicity.

Aditi Rao Hydari is at the moment celebrating the success of the film in the Maldives. She even crooned ‘O Cheli Thaara’ from the film, winning people’s hearts. Sudheer Babu met with Chiranjeevi to thank him and share the joy of the film’s success. Previously, the Megastar had been part of the film’s promotions. Chiranjeevi also launched a children’s book titled ‘Thaaralu Digi Vachina Vela’, the book Sudheer’s character Vijay in the film illustrates.
