'Rangabali' box office collection Day 1: Naga Shaurya starrer falls short on its opening day; collects Rs 1.80 crore

'Rangabali,' starring Naga Shaurya, had a disappointing start at the box office on its first day of release. The film failed to even cross the Rs 1 crore mark in terms of collections, leaving the audience and trade circles surprised. The movie, which was eagerly anticipated by fans, had generated interest through its unique promotional strategies, including intriguing teasers and trailers.Naga Shaurya himself expressed confidence in the film's success during the promotional activities, leading fans to anticipate a blockbuster performance.
However, Rangabali's routine storyline failed to make an impact on its opening day. Reports suggest that the film grossed around Rs 1.80 crore with a share of Rs 90 lakhs worldwide on Friday. In the Nizam region, it managed to collect slightly over Rs 30 lakhs rupees, but its performance in other areas was lackluster. Even in overseas markets, the film could only amass less than 20 lakhs rupees in collections.
'Rangabali' was released with a break-even target of six crores rupees, but given its first-day collections, achieving this milestone seems highly unlikely. Despite the pre-release hype surrounding the film's content and Naga Shaurya's previous successes, the movie's box office prospects now appear grim.

Looking ahead, it is anticipated that Saturday's collections may also be lower than expected. Director Pawan Basamsetti attempted to blend a love story with mass action elements in 'Rangabali,' featuring Yukti Thareja as the female lead. Supporting roles were portrayed by Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, and Satya.
