‘Ninnu Kori’ grosses Rs 25 crore in its opening weekend

Natural Star Nani’s latest release, ‘Ninnu Kori’, featuring Nivedha Thomas and Aadhi has received rave reviews since its release on July 7. According to industry experts, the romantic drama directed by Shiva Nirvana has collected Rs 25 crore gross at the box office in its opening weekend, making it the biggest opening in the actor’s career. Reportedly, it’s faring well in overseas market as well.
Made with a budget of over Rs 18 crore, the film has already collected Rs 20 crore from the sale of its global theatrical rights. Nani and Nivedha’s on-screen chemistry is one of the key factors behind the positive reaction from the audience.
The movie centres on the emotional conflict among the three lead characters. ‘Ninnu Kori’ is bankrolled by DVV Danayya. Renowned Malayalam composer Gopi Sunder has set music for the film.
