According to the makers, 'Daaku Maharaaj' achieved an impressive worldwide gross of over Rs 56 crore on its first day. This remarkable figure marks one of the biggest openings for Balakrishna in his career.

The maker announced on the X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "#DaakuMaharaaj sets the box office on fire and owns SANKRANTHI with Thunderous BLOCKBUSTER + #BlockbusterHuntingDaakuMaharaaj – THE BIGGEST OPENING for #NBK garu. That’s how #NandamuriBalaKrishna has made his Declaration with Ruthless Destruction"

This strong audience turnout can also be attributed to the successful pre-release event in the USA where Balakrishna's presence helped draw in large crowds.

In India on opening day in terms of occupancy, 'Daaku Maharaaj' recorded an overall occupancy rate of 65.92% across various showtimes, with morning shows at 59.89% and evening shows peaking at 72.61%.

The film features a talented cast including Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Urvashi Rautela, and Bollywood actor Bobby Deol in a pivotal role.
