Teja Sajja's much-awaited fantasy adventure thriller 'Mirai' has been dominating at the box office in its first weekend. According to early estimates by trade analyst Sacnilk, 'Mirai' collected Rs 16.50 crore on Day 3 domestically.
On day 3, 'Mirai' minted Rs 16.50 crore, bringing the total of the film to Rs 44.50 crore. The movie hit the screens on September 12th, and on the first day, it collected Rs 13 crore. It then made Rs 15 crore on Saturday, registering a successful weekend.
Theatre occupancy
In the Telugu market, the movie had an overall occupancy of 75.41% on Day 3. Morning shows saw nearly 67% attendance, which steadily rose during the afternoon when occupancy peaked at 83%. The evening screenings were equally strong at 81%, while the night shows maintained a healthy 71%.
The Hindi theatres had an overall 30.53% occupancy on Sunday. Morning shows began on a relatively quieter note with around 14% occupancy, but by the afternoon, numbers picked up, touching over 37%. The evening shows turned out to be the strongest, with audiences filling more than 42% of seats, before the night shows settled at a moderate 28%.

Jagapathi Babu, Ritika Nayak, and Tanja Keller.
The action thriller includes high-intensity action and high-quality VFX.
