'Mangalvaaram' box office collection: The Pooja Rajput starrer makes Rs 8 crore on the first weekend

The Telugu film 'Mangalvaaram', directed by Ajay Bhupathi, was released in theaters on November 17. The movie in the first three days, including the weekend, has reportedly made Rs 8 crore at the box office. The anticipation of the film was very high, as the teaser and trailer created huge hype. Starring Payal Rajput, Divya Pillai, Nandita Swetha, and Shravan Reddu in lead roles, the movie made Rs 8 crore at the box office in three days. On Sunday, the film made Rs 1.5 crore and is suspected to see a dip in the box office in the coming days.

Mangalvaaram is a murder mystery thriller, and the movie's story revolves around a villager where multiple murders take place, and the story unveils the mystery involved in the deaths. The movie marks the second collaboration between Ajay Bhupathi and Pooja Rajput. He earlier directed her in the 2018 success film RX 100. Following RX 100, Ajay Bhupathi directed the movie Mahasamudram, which starred Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. Following that, Mangalvaaran was a hugely expected project from the director.
