Mahesh Babu’s Murari earns nearly Rs 24 lakh in North America in advance booking

Mahesh Babu has been a stalwart of Telugu Cinema, and delivered one blockbuster after another, his next is going to be with none other than SS Rajamouli, who is already riding high on the success of Baahubali series and RRR.


Though his fans will have to wait for a long time to see a new film of Mahesh Babu, but his 23-year-old film Murari has been creating waves at the box office. The film is being re-released in 4K format not only in South Indian states, but also in North America, and the response for it is amazing. The film has sold about over 2100 tickets, and amassed a total of US $ 28,180 ( 23.65 lakh) and by the time the shows begin tomorrow, the amount would have jumped significantly higher, almost reaching the highest grossers for re-released films.


The film is releasing on 9th September and just on Bookmyshow, the film has crossed more than 1 lakh tickets.


The film revolves around the character of Murari played by Mahesh Babu, his family is a victim of a curse wherein every 48 years the heir of the family dies and in present generation it is Murari who is at risk. The film also stars Sonali Bendre, Lakshmi and Sukumri, it is directed by Krishna Vamsi, who also directed Shakti- The Power with Karisma Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan.
