The Telugu youth romance drama 'Little Hearts' has been performing well at the box office, garnering positive reviews from the audience. With word of mouth and social media buzz, the film had a decent run in theaters so far. On Monday, the film collected Rs 45 lakh as per the early estimates.
According to Sacnilk, the film collected over Rs 15.25 crore in the first week of its release. Later on Day 8, it went on to make Rs 1.4 crore, Rs 2 crore on Saturday and another Rs 2 crore on Sunday. However, the number drops to Rs 45 lakh on the second Monday, making a total of Rs 21.1 crore, outperforming Anushka Shetty's 'Ghaati', which had a very underwhelming performance at the box office.
Theatre occupancy
The overall Telugu occupancy of the day was at 18.64%. The movie had the lowest occupancy in the morning with only 13.68% and then increased to 17.17% in the afternoon shows and 17.41% in the evening shows. It later went on to register its highest occupancy at night with 26.31%.
About 'Little Hearts'
Directed by Sai Marthand, the movie is headlined by Mouli and Shivani Nagaram, starring opposite each other, making a young pair. The film is set as a youth romance drama, where the protagonist, Akhil, is having a difficult time cracking an entrance exam for engineering.
He later joins a coaching centre where he meets Khatyayani from another stream and falls in love with her. The movie has elements like a light-hearted story, friendships, humor and young love.
The movie also features Rajeev Kanakala, S.S. Kanchi, and Anitha Chowdary in pivotal roles.

The movie has been receiving shout-outs from multiple Telugu stars on social media.
