‘Kuberaa’ box office collections day 4: Dhanush’s film crosses Rs 55 cr mark, sees Monday dip

Dhanush and Nagarjuna’s much-anticipated bilingual drama 'Kuberaa' continues its steady run at the box office.

The film has managed to cross the Rs 55 crore, despite a drop in Monday collections.

As reported by the Sacnilk website, 'Kuberaa' made a notable impact over its opening weekend/ The Dhanush starrer collected Rs 14.75 crore on its first day, with Telugu leading the tally at Rs 10 crore.



The film maintained momentum on Saturday and Sunday with Rs 16.5 crore and Rs 17.35 crore respectively. The three-day total stood at a commendable ₹48.6 crore which is driven largely by Dhanush’s strong fan base in the Telugu and Tamil belts and Nagarjuna’s mass appeal.

On Monday, June 23, Kuberaa experienced a predictable drop in collections, earning Rs 6.50 crore across all languages, according to early estimates from Sacnilk. This brings the total India net collection to ₹55.10 crore in four days.


The Telugu version saw a 34.56% overall occupancy. The movie had strong turnout in night shows (45.58%). Tamil and Hindi versions saw lower traction, registering 16.60% and 10.74% overall occupancy respectively on Monday.

What lies ahead for ‘Kuberaa’

The coming days will be crucial for Kuberaa as it enters the weekday phase. Word of mouth, regional support, and the lead actors’ pull are expected to keep the film afloat. The film has received a solid 3.5 star rating from ETimes, with our official review reading, "Dhanush is in top form, delivering a performance that’s remarkably restrained yet emotionally resonant. His physical transformation—from a beggar with a photographic memory to a financial ghost—is as telling as his inner conflict. He truly gets under the skin of the character, striking an emotional chord as a compassionate man who cares for both people and animals."
