'Kantara' has been on a record-breaking spree, ever since it hit the screens. The film garnered immense appreciation from critics and audiences alike. The Rishab Shetty’s film has still managed to pull crowds to theatres. The film is already a blockbuster hit, and still it is continuing its dream run at the box office.
On its second Thursday, the Telugu version of 'Kantara' collected Rs. 4.64 crores taking the 13-day total to Rs. 45 crore, which is excellent. Now, the movie is heading towards Rs. 50 crore mark at the box office. The Rishab Shetty-starrer has crossed Rs 250 crore mark at the worldwide box office. It is currently the second-highest-grossing Kannada film of 2022. At number one, it’s Yash starrer 'KGF: Chapter 2' with a collection of Rs. 1200 crore.
'Kantara' was bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the film production banner of Hombale Films. It also had Sapthami Gowda playing a female lead role. The film boasts of a brilliant ensemble cast with Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, Prakash Thuminad, and Naveen D Padil, among others playing various characters.
The unit will organize a success tour to meet the audience directly as the film is running successfully in theatres. On October 29 (Saturday), Rishab Shetty will visit the theatres in Tirupati and Vishakhapatnam and meet the audience.
