Nani's 'HIT: The Third Case' keeps the momentum going at the box office, as the movie on Day 6 minted over Rs 2.75 crore, pushing its total tally to a solid Rs 58.55 crore.
Box office collectionAs per a report by trade analyst Sacnilk, the film opened strong with Rs 21 crore on its first day, mainly driven by the Telugu version which contributed Rs 20.25 crore. The collections dipped to Rs 10.5 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 10.4 crore on Saturday and Rs 10.25 crore on Sunday. Monday saw a sharper drop to Rs 3.65 crore, but the film managed to hold a decent figure on Tuesday with Rs 2.75 crore. So far, the movie has amassed a total of around Rs 58.55 crore in India alone.
Theatre occupancyOn Tuesday, May 6, 2025, HIT: The Third Case recorded an overall occupancy of 20.13% in Telugu-speaking regions. Morning shows had a lower turnout at 14.34%, but attendance improved during afternoon at 23.26%, evening at 19.93%, and night shows at 23.00%. In Tamil Nadu, the film maintained a similar occupancy rate of 19.71%, with morning shows at 16.50%, afternoon at 23.55%, evening at 14.38%, and night shows drawing 24.40% occupancy. These figures indicate a steady weekday performance, with potential for a boost over the weekend.
Directed by Sailesh Kolanu 'HIT: The Third Case' is the third installment in the popular 'HIT' franchise. The film centers on SP Arjun Sarkaar, played by Nani, as he investigates a series of brutal murders. Alongside Nani, the movie features Srinidhi Shetty, Surya Sreenivas, Rao Ramesh, and Brahmaji in important roles.
