The six months of 2022 have passed with superb box office numbers from some happening filmmakers. Thanks to the big-budget films that played their game well in the theaters while reviving the dull situation after the Pandemic. Moreover, the Rocking star Yash's 'KGF chapter 2' holds the actual credit for opening the door to a large number of people falling into the theaters. While the film also opened the door of the theaters with huge collections and even saw the popularity of the Rocking star creating examples of his superstardom with the success of film.
Bringing the second chapter of the much-awaited 'KGF chapter 1', Yash truly got the cash register ringing with its mega success. At a time when the theatres had run dry at the slightest ray of hope that's when Yash came and how, to save them, emerging as the Maseeha of the Indian Box office. While the film crossed the figure of Rs. 430 Cr. in the Hindi version alone it is also the most successful Hindi film of all time after 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'.
While the past six months have faired quite well for Bollywood too with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa - 2' opening the year with a bang for Bollywood, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', 'The Kashmir Files', 'RRR', and 'Pushpa: The Rise' are some other films that faired well at the box office post the pandemic.
All these films significantly crossed the mark of 100 Cr. while breaking the boundaries of the nation in terms of their reach. But it was truly 'KGF' who not only took the success to bigger and bigger heights but also was the one who actually opened doors. Moreover, with the film, the stardom of Yash is not just restricted to the south but has also grown on the Pan India level and internationally too.
