'Game Changer' Telugu box office collection Day 4: Ram Charan starrer political drama earns Rs 97 crore

Ram Charan's much-anticipated film 'Game Changer', directed by Shankar, opened to mixed reviews and is praised for the impactful performance of the lead actor. Released on January 10, 2025, the film had a strong start at the box office. However, as the weekdays approached, the film experienced a decline in numbers and fell short of crossing the Rs 100 crore mark by Day 4.

According to early estimates from trade analysts Sacnilk, 'Game Changer' earned around Rs 8.50 crore on its fourth day, bringing its total domestic collection to approximately Rs 97 crore. The breakdown of collections over the first four days is as follows: Rs 51 crore on Day 1, Rs 21.6 crore on Day 2, Rs 15.9 crore on Day 3, and Rs 8.50 crore on Day 4.

The film's occupancy rates reflected its performance, with an overall Telugu occupancy of 20.58% on Monday. Morning shows had a lower occupancy of 12.79%, while evening shows saw a slight increase to 25.07%. The Hindi version maintained a consistent occupancy of around 8.16%, and the Tamil version had an occupancy of 14.22%.

'Game Changer' tells the story of an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who takes on corrupt politicians in a fight for justice and fair elections. The film also features Kiara Advani as the female, SJ Suryah as the main negative role character. It also features Anjali, Brahmanandam and others in key roles.

Despite the initial excitement surrounding its release, 'Game Changer' faced stiff competition from Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Daaku Maharaaj', which impacted its box office performance. The mixed reviews and competition may have led to a drop in collections as audiences opted for other releases.

With the festive season still ongoing, there is expected to be a resurgence in ticket sales as more audiences flock to theatres for this political drama.
