‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ box office collection day 3: DJ has become one of the best openings ever for Stylish star Allu Arjun

As expected ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ has become one of the best openings ever for Stylish star Allu Arjun with Rs. 33 crores box-office collection on its day of release. On the first day the film managed to collect over 18 crores from the Twin Telugu states alone. As per latest updates the film is expected to collect Rs.65 crores over the weekend.

The film also took over Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ in American theatres.According to sources although ‘Tubelight’ managed to have a wide opening in US by releasing in 342 screens, the film managed to collect only 1.39 crores on the day of release. Whereas by opening in just 190 screens ‘DJ’ has collected over 3. 39 crores on the first day.
‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ often styled as ‘DJ’ is directed by Harish Shankar. The film has Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in lead roles, where Allu Arjun plays the role of a Brahmin cook, who runs a catering business. Rao Ramesh is seen in the role of an antagonist in the film.
