Dulquer Salmaan's latest Telugu film, 'Lucky
Bhaskar', has made a strong entrance at the box office since its release on October 31, 2024, coinciding with the Diwali festival. Directed by Venky Atluri, this financial drama has been performing well at the box office minting over Rs 8 crore on its first Sunday. The film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhari as the female lead.
According to a report by Sacnilk, in its first four days, 'Lucky Bhaskar' has grossed approximately Rs 29.4 crore in India. The film opened with Rs 6.45 crore on its first day, followed by Rs 6.55 crore on the second day, Rs 7.5 crore on the third day, and Rs 8 crore on Sunday, November 3.
The film's earnings are broken down into regional collections: Rs 18.93 crore from Telugu audiences, Rs 2.63 crore from Tamil viewers, Rs 7.79 crore from Malayalam audiences, and Rs 50 lakhs from Kannada audiences. Overall, the film has achieved a worldwide collection of Rs 46.50 crore.
The film had an overall occupancy rate of 51.67% in Telugu theatres on Sunday, with morning shows at 29.02%, afternoon shows at 59.94%, evening shows at 64.93%, and night shows at 52.78%.
Set in the backdrop of the banking sector in India during the late '80s and early '90s. 'Lucky Bhaskar' is the story of Baskhar Kumar, an ordinary middle-class banker who struggles to support his family while dealing with financial pressures. His life takes a dramatic turn when he unexpectedly comes across a large sum of money that he decides to keep it a secret.
