‘Custody’ day 4 box-office report is here; The film has to prove its mettle today as it is a busy 1st Monday

The 2023 political action thriller film ‘Custody’ is written and directed by Venkat Prabhu in his Tollywood directional debut and the film was shot and released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages as a Bilingual.

The film was released to mixed reviews on 12th May 2023 and the film has managed to get over Rs 7 crores in its first weekend.

Today, the 1st Monday, weekday, the film is said to mint over Rs 1.5 crores from all its language versions and it will also reportedly decides its fate as it is a busy week working day for the public.

If the film passes the above litmus test it is sure to go a long way at the ticket window all over that it was released.

Yesterday, It being a weekend, the film reportedly had 25-50% occupancy in most of the centres.

The film starred Naga Chaitanya, Krithi Shetty, Aravind Swamy, Priyamani, R.Sarath Kumar and Sampath Raj had its music composed by the Legendary father–son duo Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja. However, the film had only 2 songs in the album and both of them were written by Ramajogaya Sastry in Telugu.

The film was shot by S.R. Kathir while it was edited by Venkat Raajen and is running successfully at the theatres.
